Do you notice anything unusual about this picture?
The smooth snow on the left is the roof of the cabin! (That's how high the snow is.) 
This much snow created a problem. The snow was growing heavy on the roof but it couldn't slide off because it had no where to go. My mom recruited the guys to shovel snow/smash ice.

I cannot believe how much snow there is!! It makes me happy that I live in Florida and not Utah or Idaho. Where you afraid of getting snowed in?
As far as living alone, it has not been as bad as I thought it would be. Currently, I have 3 really great friends who are in the same position as us. The Florida housing market has really made it difficult on a lot of families out here. Hunsbands who accept jobs in new areas cannot always move their families right away because they can't sell their homes. All of us wives have weekly married but single parties to make up for it. I am just glad that I have a lot og great friends here for support!
