oh my gosh, that is SUCH an incredible picture, val! i'm so happy you posted it on your blog - and i can't believe your uncle took that picture FROM HIS BACKYARD! (granted i'm sure he had some amazing, sophisticated telescope, but still!) this reminds me of why i wanted to be an astronomer when i was younger... :) thanks for posting it :) love and miss ya!
