Erika: Ba-ba (bottle) was his first word. When he sees a bottle he'll forget about everything else and beg so sadly for it. He doesn't say a ton of words but he says Mom, Dad, ba-ba, wa-wa (water), car, go, cow & curl (squirrel...he loves squirrels!)
We try to ennunciate and repeat words associated with objects he loves but he definitely catches on to some and not others. For example, we've also worked on "more", "cat", and "dog" and he doesn't say them (yet).
