I'm so lucky to have such a wonderful wife. The past few weeks have been very busy at work, so Val made me my favorite dessert: trifle! Happy Birthday Val, and thank you for being so good to me (the trifle was amazing!)

So glad I was there for the birthday cake moment! Look how cute Bradshaw's little pursed lips are. And Valery, your picture reminds me of the videos we have of you blowing out your candles at 17. Took me back in time. What a wonderful thing to have you in my life! Big Bisous, maman.
And so begins the era of birthdays when Bradshaw must blow out the candles! Do you remember how Polly went through a stage where she always had to blow out birthday candles? Regardless of whose cake it was.
